A big
octopus in the sea!
He swam and
dreamt of new places. If only he could fly and travel to a distant place! If
only he would become free like a bird! If only he would become a strong animal
able to run fast!
He closed
his eyes and he saw a map. And a jungle! And an elephant! He was an elephant
with big and white ivory teeth shining like stars.
He started
to run at a very fast speed. And the faster he ran the happier he felt!
He stopped
near a wooden hut. What a smell! Tasty food, it seemed. How hungry he was!
Then he
felt like running again. The wind was blowing and brought with it a scent of
fantasy.
There it
was! The ladder that would lead him to the sky! He would fly and who knows what
he would become, who he would meet, what he would be able to do!
And a big
wave came and destroyed his dream!
Who said
dreams may come true?
Never underestimate the power of blindness.
